The Sixth Sense

Unless your girl thinks you have no sense of picking up on hints, she's probably not going to sit you down and tell you what she wants for Christmas. Most girls want you to pick up on the sometimes subtle hints that they give. Some girls are too stubborn to drop hints and want you to play Professor X and read their minds, and if you guess wrong, you get the cold shoulder all winter long (more ways than one, get it?).

Whatever the case, here are some tips to figure out what that special someone is wanting for Christmas...

#1: Listen!!! You can just pick up hints through a regular conversation if you just open your ears. Here's a conversation:

Guy: Hey baby, looking hot!
Girl: Thank you. I really like my outfit, but I've really had my eyes on this leather jacket @ Macy's that would put this outfit over the top!
Guy: Nahhh! You don't need a jacket, just wear mine if you get cold....

That was a very clear hint-drop. Lets get a little more subtle

Guy: Hey baby, looking hot!
Girl: Thank you. I'm really cold though!
Guy: Just wear my jacket, and don't mind the musty smell...

Yes, girls do like to wear their men's jacket sometimes, but what they really want is you to think about them and purchase that jacket for them.

#2: Watch commercials! Commercials are filled with brain-washing techniques for women! Keep an eye on your lady and see her facial expressions, or maybe she'll blurt out and say that she would love the item that's being advertised. Make a mental note and surprise her on Christmas morning!

#3: Sunday Papers! Get a Sunday paper and go through all of the sales papers with your woman noting the items that get aha moments. This is pretty simple!

DO NOT -- I REPEAT -- DO NOT let this conversation go down:

Guy: Hey hot muffins, what would you like for Christmas
Girl: Ummm, I don't think I want anything this year
Guy: Okay, cool!

If you don't buy your girl anything for Christmas (even if they say, they don't want anything) you can expect to spend New Years lonely!

Top 5 TV Moments from the Fatdreek Era

I love 90's t.v. and here are my top 5 90's t.v. moments of all time

1. Jessie Spano's "I'm so excited" episode : Saved By The Bell

If I was Zack, I would've slapped her before the 2nd "Im so excited" got out of her mouth! Saved by the Bell would've been my favorite show if it wasn't for the middle school and college years. Everything in between was classic television that I can watch all day and night!

2. The Urkel Dance: Family Matters

Urkel paved the way for all of these dances that you see today. O-dog hated em so bad that he spiked his drink! Haters do the darndest things!

3. Geoffrey Quits: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

The 1st of 2 Fresh Prince classic moments. Again, Fresh Prince would've been a classic if they would've paid the dark Vivan some money. I wasn't a big fan of little Nicky either. Geoffrey went ham in this clip. I can't wait until I get rich, and I get to tell Eric that I QUIT!!!

4: Good Ole Lou!: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

I can't even watch this clip, because I get teary eyed everytime. Anybody that says Will Smith can't act, hasn't seen this clip! Any man that doesn't have anything to do with his seed, will never get respect for me!

5: George Sleeping Under the Desk : Seinfield

I couldn't find the immediate feed, so you have to click on the link above (stop whining!) I've only seen one episode of Seinfield my whole life, when I was sitting in the hospital room waiting on doc to stitch me up. This was the episode, and I laughed until I cried. If I can get past racist Kramer, I think I might enjoy this series!

Its about that time!!

I've been slacking, I know! If you've lost faith in me, I wouldn't blame you. Between playing Madden (that I just purchased on black friday), and reading the hunger games trilogy (http://www.amazon.com/Hunger-Games-Trilogy-Boxed-Set/dp/0545265355/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323091049&sr=8-1), and being a father to my son, Buddy Lee, I have lost all of the free time, I once had, but Im back like chiropractors (get it?)

I want to give a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Alex and John Shepherd on the birth of their beautiful and healthy baby, Riley Rae Shepherd last Tuesday. I've only worked with Alex since July, but its felt like a decade. I guess when you're homies, it be's like that sometimes!

Ok!! Im going to cut right to the the meat of this blog! Christmas gifts!!! I'm not really big on receiving as I am on giving. Something about making somebody happy with a gift just makes ya boy feel all woozy inside. I remember when I was a kid. My mom didn't have a lot of money, but she always seemed to get the perfect gift for Christmas for me. My favorite gift received of all time was a WWF wrestling ring.

I played with action figures a lot growing up, because I was always grounded. From that day I vowed to make everyone I ever loved to feel the same way I felt when I unwrapped this wrestling ring. I encourage everyone to spread the joy of giving this season. & let us not forget the reason for the season. God gave us the perfect gift in his Son, Jesus. The least we can do is give some imperfect gifts to make someone's Christmas that much mroe special!
